Polyfulfillment of Prophecy

It has been in mind to start and finish this study for a long time.  It first became clear to me in my teenage years there were many people that did not understand something simple about prophecy.  This is when there is 1 prophecy given for an event, that event happens once.   In other words dual fulfillment, or poly fulfillment, is not a true logical or biblical concept. The whole drive behind this particular study was due to controversy, and concern about the correct teaching, making sure I, myself was purged of lies.

Every single example here is a fulfillment of one of # things. 1) A prophecy which is given by God, who is the Father, which is completed. 2) A command given by God, who is the Father, with requirement to complete a time of separation, or punishment, or as a reward for doing right. 3) A time of waiting which came to an end, or a work completion. 4) A prophecy which speaks of its own terms of fulfillment.  They all have 1 commonality, for 1 requirement of a command, 1 fulfillment is called for, likewise for prophecy for every prophecy 1 fulfillment happens, and every time of waiting came to an end once for the set time. In no case in the bible are multiple fulfillments required for the same infraction, nor are multiple fulfillments listed for the same prophecy.

This is a mind boggling idea, however, many in prophetic interpretation circles get very confused because of this, and a great variety of bad teaching and theory crafting happens, along with doubtful disputations, anger, and unrest in the community.  Having been in Christian communities for all of my life, this has become very important because this is one of the number 1 diving factors between different schools of prophetic thought.

It is my hope this writing can be use by all Christians, and perhaps even a few Jews to help prove their faith, and make it more logically sound.  This was not put together to show all prophecies which have been fulfilled, just to show the ones God said were fulfilled, only happened once. 1 prophetic event, 1 fulfillment.

  • A prophecy which is given by God, who is the Father, which is completed.

There is more work at the bottom and some fact checkers would be nice.
